Warsztaty 2 Życie Rzeczy
When appling for IntegrART project in Krakow last September and choosing the club where I would like to spend majority of my time, Klub Kultury Łokietek won over other clubs because of giving a big importance in ecology, sustainability and green practices. Decision to guide ecologic workshops was made during an interview even before I arrived in Poland.
Classes for adults and youngsters, sometimes for children were conducted monthly by me and once in collaboration with volunteer Kristian Filip Guzma choosing different topics every time. In the club we had so many materials to recycle that there was barely any need to buy supplies for the workshops. With Magda Cudziło, my art colleague we exchanged the knowledge and were finding ideas together.
It was an interesting journey that turned out quite successfully. I started an avalanche of good crafty ecological vibes in the club. I am sure KKŁokietek will continue with a cycle even without me.
