Greek Mornings, a journey into the world of myths, culture and imagination!

During our “Greek Mornings” workshops, children embarked on an exciting journey to the mythical world of Greece, discovering its culture, traditions and fascinating stories. The sessions were led by Grammatiki, also known as Kiki, our volunteer from the Greek island of Ikaria, who is taking part in the Integrart 9 project under the European Solidarity Corps.

Greek mythology was at the heart of the workshops. Through Kiki’s storytelling, the children were transported into a world of heroes, goddesses, mythical creatures and ancient legends. These captivating tales inspired a variety of creative art activities. The children made their own Trojan horses, mysterious sea monsters and colourful bookmarks inspired by the Nine Muses.

The workshops also featured plenty of games, fun activities and opportunities to explore Greek customs together. In a joyful and engaging atmosphere, the children discovered different aspects of Greek culture while developing their imagination, creativity and curiosity about the world around them.

Greckie poranki, czyli podróż do świata mitów, kultury i wyobraźni!

Podczas warsztatów „Greckie poranki” dzieci wyruszyły w niezwykłą podróż do mitycznej Grecji, poznając jej kulturę, tradycje i fascynujące opowieści. Zajęcia prowadziła Grammatiki, znana również jako Kiki nasza wolontariuszka z Ikarii, uczestniczka programu Integrart 9 w ramach Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarności.

Motywem przewodnim spotkań były mity greckie, które Kiki opowiadała dzieciom, przenosząc je do świata herosów, bogiń, niezwykłych stworzeń i starożytnych legend. Opowieści stawały się inspiracją do twórczych działań plastycznych. Powstawały między innymi konie trojańskie, tajemnicze potwory morskie oraz kolorowe zakładki inspirowane dziewięcioma muzami.

Nie zabrakło także gier, zabaw i wspólnego odkrywania greckich zwyczajów. Dzieci miały okazję poznać elementy kultury Grecji w radosny i angażujący sposób, a przy okazji rozwijać wyobraźnię, kreatywność i ciekawość świata.
