Metoda tie-dye kojarzona przede wszystkim z hipisowskimi
środowiskami Stanów Zjednoczonych lat 60-tych polega na wiązaniu, składaniu czy
spinaniu materiałów przed naniesieniem na nich barwnika lub barwników.
Zajęcia odbędą się 9 czerwca o godzinie 18.30. Do naszych instruktorek Magdy i Zrinki dołączy gościnnie Kristian ze Słowacji.
Zapewniamy
barwniki i potrzebne akcesoria, po stronie uczestników jest przyniesienie
T-shirtu lub innej bawełnianej tkaniny do farbowania (najlepiej w kolorze
białym lub innym jasnym), której chcecie nadać drugie życie.
Drugie zycie rzeczy is continuing with workshops. This time
we prepared TIE DYE technique to give a new life to an old T-shirt, hoodie,
pillow case or a tote bag. The term “tie-dye” first appeared in the United
States during the 1960’s. Especially among hippies, who were protesting the
Vietnam War and promoting peace and love. The process of tie-dye consists of folding,
twisting, pleating or crumpling fabric before binding with string or rubber
bands. It is followed by the application of dye or dyes.
Our workshop will take place on 9th of June at 6:30 PM and
among with instructors Magda and Zrinka we’ll have a guest Kristian from
Slovakia.
Dyes are provided but bring your T-shirts, tote bags,
hoodies that you would like to give new life to.
